The royal couple seem to be having a blast at the Olympic Games in London, but can the couple expect some peace after what has been a crazy year for the Royal Family? With scheduled trips to South East Asia – Singapore and Malaysia, to the Solomon Islands in the fall as part of the Jubilee celebrations, Will and Kate will certainly be keeping up their busy schedule for a while. Now the Royal couple can add Ireland to their list, as Irish leader Enda Kenny made an informal invite to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at their introduction at the pre-Olympic reception at Buckingham Palace. Traditionally, it’s the Irish Embassy who must formally invite members of the Royal Family to the Emerald Isle, but it’s seems pretty likely.
After Queen Elizabeth II’s historic and successful visit to Ireland recently, invitation is likely to become a reality. The Royal Couple may get invited to many places, but they would be pleased with an invitation to Ireland.“They were enthusiastic, and hope to get involved with some of our notable charities,” said the Irish Prime Minister about the visit.Since their marriage in 2011, the Duke and Duchess have visited many countries, such as Canada, the US and Denmark. However, with their current agenda being as full as it is, it’s more likely we’ll see Prince William and Kate Middleton in Ireland till 2013.
